Tim Johnson is a seasoned real estate executive with over 20 years of experience in brokerage, investment, and asset management. As the founder of TBJPA, a leading Florida-based real estate advisory firm, Tim provides strategic insight and transactional expertise across land, redevelopment, and income producing properties throughout West and Central Florida. His leadership and market knowledge have positioned him as a trusted advisor to investors, developers, and property owners seeking to maximize value in dynamic real estate markets.
A former top performer at Marcus & Millichap’s Tampa office, Tim has closed over $750 million in commercial transactions, serving high-profile clients, including New York Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez in $35 million of multifamily investments. As Managing Partner of Velocity Management Group (VMG), he oversees a portfolio of multifamily and self-storage assets in the Southeastern U.S., while also providing third-party property management services.
With a proven track record of successful investments and a history of founding and exiting a national procurement firm, Tim blends operational expertise with market insight to drive value for investors, institutions, and developers.
EDUCATION
Mr. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where he earned a bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Management. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Florida as well as a licensed FAA Pilot and resides with his wife and 2 kids in South Tampa
